Inhouse Workday Absence Consultant Role - 100% Remote

Position: Workday Absence Consultant (m/f/d)

Location: Berlin or 100% Homeoffice

 

Their success hinges on continual process optimization and automation, necessitating deep expertise in integrating HR processes within Workday. As the Workday Absence Consultant, you will join the team reporting to the Head of Digital HR & Analytics. In this consultancy role, you will collaborate closely with HR, IT, and business teams to support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Workday Absence module.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in the functional design, configuration, and implementation of Workday Absence module features and enhancements.

  • Translate technical requirements into impactful outcomes for our company, ensuring integrity, quality, and security within the Absence module.

  • Collaborate with HR, business leaders, and the Head of Digital HR & Analytics to devise Workday Absence solutions that add significant business value.

  • Offer guidance, training, and support to end-users and stakeholders on system capabilities and optimization methods within Workday Absence.

  • Assist in managing projects related to the Workday Absence module, ensuring successful adoption and implementation of new functionalities.

  • Conduct data analysis to identify system trends, recommending solutions for system performance enhancement and improved user experience within the Absence module.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including business process flows, technical specifications, and test scripts specific to the Absence module.

  • Stay updated on Workday product releases within the Absence module, suggesting updates and enhancements as necessary.

  • Create and maintain custom reports and calculated fields within the Workday Absence module.


Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of HRIS experience and a minimum of 3 years specifically within Workday, focusing on the Absence module.

  • Proven experience in end-to-end deployments of Workday Absence as a functional consultant or similar capacity.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills within the context of Workday Absence.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate between non-technical business teams and technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in handling personal data with confidentiality.

  • Language skills: English C1, German: Nice-to-have but not essential.
